As you can see from the banner above, I’m going to retract my ill feelings for the GOVIOS affiliate program and give them the thumbs up.

Because they are showing some strong signs of being a top drawer affiliate program. When I posted my rant the other day about their program, I was pleased to receive the following email from them, within HOURS of the post. Here’s their email:

I saw your blog entry about the GoVios Terms. We’ve reviewed the Terms again and based on your feedback, we realize our protectiveness of the domain was due to our experience of seo spamming in the past. While we are still protective of our domain and brand, we do also realize that it is near impossible to prevent seo, especially, when our own text has the GoVios name in most.

Based on further review, we’ve recently made an update to the Terms which will take effect in 7 days. We thank you for the feedback, and do wish that you will reconsider partnership with us. We are constantly looking for our partners’ feedback, and value input.

Now obviously they are not regular readers of this blog (or maybe they are, dunno) but at least they have some google alerts set for their program and a staff that responds rapidly.

Add to that the fact they weren’t just blowing smoke up my skirt to get me to retract my post. Because within a day I received the actual programs term change email from share a sale. (which I won’t post here because it’s about three miles long and pretty boring)

Suffice it to say, they changed their terms and will allow organic seo techniques to promote their product.

Which is cool. I can’t wait to see how goviosphone.com does with this program….

Thank you GOVIOS, I wish you a lot of success with your sales and your products. I will do what I can to promote them too, as well as your affiliate program. I sincerely appreciate your fast response to my groans.
