Making money with affiliate marketing can be tough to figure out. Though I’ve been doing it now for right at 14 years, I’ve never forgotten how hard it was in the beginning.
I do remember how frustrating it can be to sit at your computer night after night. Banging away at the keys hoping for any friggin’ sign of success. It’s disheartening to say the least, and it sends some really great people back to the old grind, more times than not.
But I’m here to tell you that it does work if you stick to it. You see, all that time you are spending is an investment. If anything, you are learning what doesn’t work. Which will save you some time when you do finally figure out what works for you.
Never lose sight of what it’s really all about. That’s money boys and girls. Plain and simple. Cold hard cash, moolah, duckets, scrilla, scratch, dinero. Money is what you’re after. So the first thing we need to get you past is that first sale.
I do remember the very first check I ever received as an affiliate. It was for exactly $30 smackers and it felt like a little piece of heaven in my hands. Not because it was an awesome amount of money, never mind that it took me months to earn it. Nope, it was a landmark day for me because I had hard evidence, in my hot little hands, that yes Virginia, it can be done.
You can do it. Stay focused and stay at it. Don’t give up the ghost before that first paycheck comes. Because you’ll miss a truly wonderful day and a really awesome feeling.
Once that first sale is banked it get’s easier, I promise you.
